UC live (or prototype) service closed to new claims at the end of December 2017. From 1 January 2018 new UC claims are only be possible in the full service areas (shown in pink on the map).
Note: claimants with three or more dependent children cannot new claim for Universal Credit - they will have to claim 'legacy' benefits instead - this will apply until 31 January 2019. Families with three or more children already on Universal Credit will remain on UC. UC full service in parts of North Kensington ( postcodes W8,W11, W10 5,W10 6 and W10 9 ) has been postponed until 12 December 2018. UC is also available in certain specified postcodes in Northern Ireland - these areas are not covered by this map.
